Claudia led archival research for the project, identifying and securing footage from international vendors specializing in conflict zones and humanitarian crises. Her early findings revealed that most American-based archives lacked sufficient coverage of Sudan’s civil war and the ongoing humanitarian emergency in South Kordofan. She expanded the search globally, ultimately sourcing material that highlighted both the devastation of the conflict and the severe droughts affecting the region. This archival footage helped underscore why Fogbow’s humanitarian airlift missions were both urgent and essential.
